All dry and canned food offerings from ZIWI Peak were developed to meet their species-specific biological requirements for optimum nutrition. All ZIWI Peak recipes are born of love, crafted with goodness, and ingredients all locally sourced from the pristine natural resources of New Zealand.
ZIWI Peak air-dried products are famous for their whole prey recipes in authentic ratios that mirror the natural diet of cats and dogs. The first seven to eight critical ingredients of canned and dry products that constitute 96% of the total recipe come from top-quality meat products, organs, bone, and seafood.
ZIWI Peak is not known for the things they include in their recipes, but instead for things that they do not include in their pet food products. Your beloved furry animal will surely appreciate that all ingredients come from grass-fed meat, free-range poultry, and sustainable seafood. Their recipes do not contain added hormone or growth promoters, no grains, and no added sugar or glycerine. ZIWI Peak formulations are low in carbohydrates, so pets are only fed with the essential nutrients they need.
ZIWI Peak has excellent understanding and knowledge of what cats and dogs need. Dogs and cats are natural carnivores, and with this authentic food requirement, we have come up with recipes that do not contain allergens and fillers that may cause more harm than good to your beloved pet.
At present, ZIWI Peak does not offer supplements for cats and dogs. Our air-dried and canned food offerings satisfy the complete nutritional profile for both species, so there is no need for supplementation unless recommended by a veterinary expert.
